Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-04-28
This Privacy Policy applies to Centractive LLC (“Centractive,” “we,” “us”) and its products and services, including engagements conducted under the AI Engineering Services practice. It describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've written it in plain language. If something is unclear, email hello@centractive.com.
01.What information we collect
Website visitors. When you visit centractive.com, we record anonymous, aggregated information about the visit: page URL, referrer, browser type, screen size, and country (derived from IP and immediately discarded). We do not set cookies on this marketing site, and we do not store IP addresses or any identifier that could be tied back to you.
People who email us. If you email an address at centractive.com ( hello@, services@, press@), we receive your name, email address, and the contents of your message, plus anything else you choose to include.
Service engagement clients. If you engage Centractive for an architecture review, AI tooling rollout, or advisory work, we collect the contact and business information necessary to deliver the engagement, plus whatever materials you share with us during the work. The terms of each engagement are governed by a separate Master Services Agreement (MSA) that defines confidentiality and data handling.
Crush Interviews users. Information collected through the Crush Interviews product is governed by the Crush Interviews Privacy Policy, not this one.
02.How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Reply to your message and route inquiries to the right person.
- Deliver service engagements and the contractual obligations they include.
- Understand traffic patterns on the marketing site (which pages are visited, where visitors come from) so we can improve the site over time.
- Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
We do not use information from website visits, emails, or service engagements to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.
03.Information we don't collect
To be explicit about what we don't do:
- No third-party advertising trackers (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag, etc.).
- No behavioral profiling or cross-site tracking.
- No fingerprinting or persistent device identifiers.
- No cookies set by Centractive on this marketing site.
- No selling, renting, or sharing of personal data with marketing partners.
- No use of your data for AI model training, ours or anyone else's.
04.Service providers
We use service providers for site hosting, DNS and email routing, and analytics. Each provider is bound by its own privacy policy and by contractual obligations to us. We choose providers who minimize data collection and don't repurpose the data we send them.
For service engagements, any additional sub-processors are disclosed in the engagement MSA.
05.How we store and protect data
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Email correspondence is stored in our inbox provider's secure mail storage. Engagement materials are stored in access-controlled systems and only handled by Centractive principals working on the engagement.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you per applicable law.
06.Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws like the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). These can include the right to access, correct, delete, or port the personal information we hold about you, and the right to object to certain uses.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@centractive.com. We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
California residents have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising CCPA rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
08.Data retention
We retain information only as long as we have a legitimate reason to.
- Email correspondence. Retained as long as professionally relevant or required by law (typically up to seven years for tax and contract purposes).
- Service engagement records. Retained for seven years after the engagement closes, for tax, audit, and dispute-resolution purposes.
- Analytics events. Aggregated traffic data retained indefinitely; raw event data retained for 30 days.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner; we'll honor the request unless we have a legal obligation to keep it.
09.Service-specific privacy practices
Crush Interviews. Information collected through Crush Interviews is governed by the Crush Interviews Privacy Policy.
Engineering Services engagements. Each engagement is governed by a Master Services Agreement that defines confidentiality, data handling, and any additional sub-processors. Where the MSA conflicts with this Privacy Policy, the MSA controls for that engagement.
10.Children's privacy
Centractive's products and services are intended for businesses and working professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email hello@centractive.com and we will delete it.
11.Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site, and where we have your email address, we will notify you directly.
12.Contact us
